Fleet mechanic with 5 years’ experience with 10 years’ hands-on welding experience, mig-tig-stick.  We are looking to hire an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty equipment. You will be responsible for inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to the fleet.  To ensure success as a heavy equipment mechanic, you should have 5+ years’ proven experience working with heavy machinery. 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Continuous employment preferred, no gaps
• Diploma from vocational/technical school preferred; factory school diploma preferred
• Multiple ASE certifications preferred, medium-heavy truck track
• 5 years’ proven work experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic
• Understanding of computer testing technologies
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment
• Ability to work after-hours if required
• Good communication skills
• Current Georgia driver’s license
